Message	A buddy of mine has a 90 tt for sale. He bought it for parts and only switched transmissions with the tt he has running. Now, he wants to sell it for about 1k, I may get it for less. But, I am wondering if it is a good deal. I want to use it for conversion parts, but is it worth 1k? I do not know what condition the engine is in. He says the engine is busted, what that means I do not know. My thoughts on it is to maybe buy it and rebuild the engine and turbos and use it for a conversion. The car is not wrecked and is fairly complete. It was sitting at a junk yard for a while. What can possibly go wrong with this? I figure about 400 to rebuild turbos. Another 500 to buy used turbo heads (b/c its a 90) and to get new HG's/Hbolts/valve seals/rings. So about 1900 total, then get some back for selling parts. Would this be a smart decision?
